Slats in Polycarbonate
Advantages of slats in solar polycarbonate : water heating & prevention against algae growth.
The polycarbonate profile has got three hollow chambers and a double hook.
The ends of the slats are air- and water-tight by caps using silicon.
- Slats cannot be “burnt” by direct UV light as distortion only happens from 130 Celsius degrees
- This cover might be used with a simple above-ground system (without covering)
- The algae growth between solar slats is reduced as the chamber of the female hook is opaque
